Drake State College in Huntsville AL, with assistance from PLM Leader, has been awarded an academic grant for 50 seats of the Solid Edge Academic Bundle from Siemens PLM Software, with a commercial value of $723,250.00. Wallace State Community College, Hanceville AL, has been awarded an academic grant by Siemens PLM Software, of an unlimited number of seats of the Solid Edge Academic Bundle Software, which has a commercial value of $289,300. Wallace State Students will be trained to use the software to design error-free precision metal parts in industrial machine shops. 20 students a year in the Computerized Numerical Control program will be trained in and benefit from use of the software. PLM Leader assisted in the grant application process for Siemens and Wallace State. Bob Jones High School in Madison AL, with assistance from PLM Leader, has been awarded an academic grant for 25 seats of the Solid Edge Academic Bundle, with a commercial value of $361,625.00.
